Our Goal is to Give You More Than
“18 Reasons to Miss Work.”

The 18 reasons of course are the eighteen holes of Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans, a great golf course. A course with the largest greens in Greater New Orleans. A links-style course design featuring 100 sand traps. One with pristine fairways and large, undulating greens. But we don’t just stop at the 18 holes.

The Conk Naquin Memorial Golf Classic offers you a unique event. Hosted by the Ray Hester Chapter of the Tulane Athletic Fund and sponsored by our great friends at Bisso Towboat, the Classic is a natural to attract not only Tulane fans but also many of the Tulane Coaching Staff and former Tulane Athletes. You never know who will show up. Avid golfer and new Head Football Coach Bob Toledo is already registered, as are many of his staff. Of course we expect Head Basketball Coaches Dave Dickerson and Lisa Stockton to be there with most of their assistants. You may even run into some former and current players of not only Tulane but also the NFL. It’s a popular event with the entire staff of Tulane Athletic Department. Not surprisingly, many local corporate and community leaders find “18 Reasons to Miss Work” for the Classic.

The Conk Naquin Memorial Golf Classic is in a class by itself.

But it’s not just who plays. It is the fantastic day that is ahead of you when you play in the Classic.

The Night Before the Classic—Let's Party
7:00—9:00PM	Pre-Classic Party Our great friends at Boomtown will host a party for all registered golfers. (You Must be Registered and Paid by April 20th In Order to Attend) You will be treated to prime rib, fried catfish and many other goodies. Of course there will be an open bar of call brands and ice cold longnecks. Players will receive their Golf Shirt and Goody Bag. There will be a free drawing of prizes for golfers. The drawing is exclusively for golfers in attendance. Win an eight-piece set of Mizuno MT-60 Irons, a set of threee MT-P Mizuno Wedges or a Turtle 2 Tavel Golf Bag.

Your Day at the Conk Naquin Memorial Golf Classic
11:30—until	Putting Contest Your chance to win a great prize. The cost is $5 per ball or 3 balls for $10. If there are ties, there will be a putt-off at end of play and prior to the Awards Cocktail Reception.
11:30—12:50	Registration At Registration you will pickup your registration pack that will include the names of the members of your team, your cart assignment. You will also receive your Conk Naquin Golf Classic Golf Shirt and a super Goody Bag stuffed with all sorts of things. A big Thank You goes to our Goody Bag Partner—Mitchell C. Compeaux, CPAs.
11:30—until	Mulligans and Raffle Tickets Packages for Sale Your chance to buy your raffle tickets for many great prizes and also your Mulligan Tickets (only Mulligan per player).
11:30—12:50	Pre-Classic Food and Drinks Plenty of food and of course there will be plenty of cold beverages.
12:50—1:00	Golfers Assemble Head Out to Your Cart for a Fun Day

Putting Contest	1st PLACE— Choice of a Tulane Golf Bag, $200 Rouse Gift Card, or 2007 Saints Lithograph Football. 2nd PLACE gets to chose from the prizes not chosen by the First Place Winner. 3rd PLACE gets the remaining Prize. All Proceeds go to the Tulane Athletics Summer School Program.
Closest to Hole (2)	There will be two Closest to the Hole Contests on the course. In each 1st PLACE is a fantastic night at the Harrah's New Orleans Hotel with a mouth-watering dinner for two at Besh Steakhouse. 2nd PLACE is a pair of Dry-Joy Golf Shoes. 3rd PLACE is a Foursome at Belle Terre Golf Course.
Vegas Hole (2)	A chance to test your skill. Get your money back, double your money, or win a sleeve of balls all with a chance for a One-Night Stay at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans with a Breakfast for Two.

After Play
Putting Contest	Putt-Off if necessary.
Participation Prize Drawing	The tickets for the Participation Prizes will be drawn during play. Winners can pick up their prizes after they complete play.
Raffle Prize Drawing	Winning Tickets will be drawn as soon as the last team is off the course.
Awards Cocktail Party	The Bar Is Open! The Awards Cocktail Party begins immediately after the last team is off the course. Our great sponsor of this event is Glazer Distributors.
End of Awards Cocktail Party	One and one-half hours after the Bar Opens!
